Edward G. White, III, “Tripp” was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. In August 2011, he started his own law practice. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the Middle District of Tennessee. Tripp obtained his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2010. In 2005, he graduated cum laude with a B.A. degree from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he majored in history. Tripp has served as co-chairman of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Knoxville Bar Association since 2013, is a Barrister level member of the Hamilton-Burnett Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Tennessee Association for Justice. He lives in Knoxville with his wife and daughter.
